Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council

Purpose

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council strives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on the UW-Stout Campus. The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council serves as a representative to marginalized students on campus and the cultural & identity organizations on campus.

Who's on the EDI Council?

The Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Senator of Accessibility and Accommodations, one student representative from the cultural and identity student organizations, and Advisor Vargas the Associate Dean of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

When does the committee meet?

Thursdays from 4:00-5:00. Our meetings are open to the public, so anyone is free to attend. You can find each meeting listed on our events page.

Diversity Week 2021

Diversity Week is a campus wide collaboration with the EDI Council to celebrate equity, diversity, and inclusion. This is a week long event that is dedicated to educating the UW-Stout community, elevating minority voices, and celebrating diversity.
