Shared Governance Committees

As laid out in Wisconsin State Statute § 36.09(5), the Stout Student Association is the body responsible for appointing students to a wide variety of campus committees that affect students and govern the University.  There are 25+ committees to choose from!

Many of the below committees have additional information available.  Please click the "LEARN MORE" button to discover more information about these committees.

There is no prior experience required to serve on a shared governance committee, and we encourage all students to get involved.  If you are interested in applying please visit our Shared Governance Application on CONNECT!
