Community: Menomonie Area Residents

We are incredibly glad to call Menomonie home, and we welcome people from throughout the area to call us home, too.

Qube Services

The Qube's services are available to everyone. Here are a few that may be of particular interest to residents (and visitors) of the Menomonie area. You can also check out our full services page to learn more about services we provide.

Safe Space Training

One of our longest-standing programs, Safe Space Trainings are facilitated by Qube staff and train participants to be more aware of LGBTQIA+ issues. Our trainings provide the basics in terminology, ways to be more inclusive of LGTBQIA+ students, faculty members, and staff, and also features a student panel where participants can ask students questions in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Safe Space Trainings are open to all, and they are held throughout the year. Trainings typically last three hours. Feel free to contact us with questions.

Inclusive Forms Initiative

Inclusive forms and survey instruments are an important part of making all feel welcome and included. Contact the UW-Stout LGBTQIA+ Program Office for an assessment of your forms/instruments, complete with suggestions for simple revisions that will enhance their effectiveness and inclusivity!

Queer Lending Library

The Qube has a queer lending library available to all. Drop by and read or check out a book or film from us!

Guest Speakers

Qube staff are available to speak to groups, classes, or events on a variety of topics. Fill out our Speaking Request Form or contact us if you are interested in having a staff member speak with your class or group.

Get Involved

The Qube's events are open to all, whether they are students, faculty, staff, or community members in the Menomonie area. Check out our events and join us; we can't wait to have you!

If there are other ways that you would like to get involved with The Qube, please reach out to us!
