New Officer Workshop

The Involvement Center will be holding a new officer workshop where we'll be going through CONNECT, resources for orgs, and more. This will be offered three times and is great for both new officers starting out and those wanting a refresher.

Register Now for Spring Involvement Fair

The Spring Involvement Fair is Thursday, January 26th from 5-7PM. Space is limited so if your org wants to participate, please register here to guarantee a spot.

Once you are registered, you do not need to make a CONNECT event. You will be added as a cohost to Involvement's event.

Winter Fest Weekend

Winter Fest Weekend will be Friday and Saturday, February 3rd-4th. Check out all of the events happening below, ending with our Fire and Ice Ball Saturday night.

Orgs are invited to participate in our Saturday Winter Games by hosting Minute to Win It style games. Involvement will purchase supplies for your game up to $50. Games should be designed to be won by individual players or groups of two max. Sign up by January 23rd to host a game here. Questions? Email Jennifer Lee.

Register Your Spring Events on CONNECT

Event registration and attendance tracking remains required for all student organization activities. Be sure to register your events on CONNECT early and use the reoccurring event feature for regularly occurring meetings.

23-24 Academic Year Budget Requests Closing Soon

SSA budget requests are open until NOON on January 30th, 2023. Please review the budget request instructions on the Involvement Website for the basics. Each request must do three things:

  1. Apply
  2. Sign up for a hearing
  3. Attend the hearing

Campus is now accepting nominations for the annual Leadership Awards!  Orgs can choose to self-nominate or nominate others for awards.

We encourage orgs to apply for our Student Org Event of the Year award. This award is presented at our annual Leadership Awards in May and you can apply throughout the year while the event is fresh in your mind.

Apply for the Samuel E. Wood Medallion Award

Are you a senior graduating in Spring of 2023 or Fall of 2023? If so, then apply for the Samuel E. Wood Medallion Award.  This is the highest non-academic award given to students at Stout who have positively impacted the campus. Applicants will be notified of their selection in March/April and recipients will be honored during the Leadership Awards. 

Application Deadline: Friday, March 3rd
