Now Open: Spring Involvement Fair Sign Up

The Spring Involvement Fair will be Thursday, January 25th from 5-7PM in the MSC Great Hall. This event is similar to Backyard Bash where orgs can table and recruit new members. 

Orgs can sign up for a table here. Space is limited and will be given in order of submissions received. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, January 23rd

SSA Annual Budget Requests Open

The SSA Annual Budget request process is now open on CONNECT. For instructions on how to request an annual budget for the 2024-2025 academic year, go here

Spring Leadership Summit- Save the Date

The Involvement Center will be leading a Spring Leadership Summit on Monday, January 29th from 6-9PM in the MSC.

This org officer training will be similar to the annual Fall Leadership Summit Training and is highly encouraged for new org officers. Returning officers looking for additional training and those looking to start a new org are also welcome to attend. 

Sessions will include:

  • Applying for SSA Funding
  • E-Commerce and Fundraising
  • Event Registration and Approval Process
  • Involvement Desk Services
  • CONNECT 101
  • CONNECT Advanced
  • Contract Process for Outside Speakers and Performers

Update Your Email Access and CONNECT Group

If your org will have new officers or a new advisor in spring, make sure to do the following before your outgoing officers leave.

1- Update your email access. To add or remove someone as a member and owner of your org's account, follow these instructions
2- Update your CONNECT group. Make sure to remove anyone who is no longer an officer, and add all new officers and/or advisors. It's important to keep your CONNECT group up to date as this is considered your official roster and how the Involvement Center contacts the correct people. 

Reserving Space for Spring Semester

If your org has not reserved space yet for next semester, make sure to do it now before spaces book up. Check out this webpage for more information on how to book different spaces on campus.
