In the SLA position, you'll work with your peers across campus to create and facilitate leadership development activities and social and educational programs. You'll assist Hall Leadership Committees in their work and manage a large budget to help support these initiatives.
Manage aspects of the residence hall including hiring, supervising, and evaluating the resident advisors and front desk assistants, overseeing daily operations, managing the front desk operation, updating budget spreadsheets, and advising a student group.
Position Description
Work with both students and staff, working on a staff team and assisting others in your residence hall with strengthening their academic abilities and becoming better aware of campus resources through programming and outreach.
Serve residents of your building as you practice excellent customer service while managing building security, mail on North Campus, compost & recycling services, snow removal, and an inventory of tools, games, kitchen equipment, etc... The front desk is the social hub of the residence hall with positions available for first-year and upper-class students.
Manage your own schedule as you assist the custodial crew in their efforts to keep the hall clean through vacuuming and surface cleaning. This position has significant work hour flexibility as to work hour with positions available for first-year and upper-class students.
Work in the University Housing Office in Price Commons. Assist students and staff, answer phones, and perform administrative tasks. Positions available for first-year and upper-class students.
Manage desk operations; hire train, and evaluate desk staff. Overseeing daily operations, including mail and packages, occupancy, and inventory.
Work with summer camps and conferences, providing customer service at the front desk, assist with cleaning and resetting rooms, and serving on a duty rotation.
