You tell us the prizes that will be good for your event too! Events should be designed to be won by individual players or groups of two max so all students can participate.

  • Trivia – 6:00 & 8:00pm rounds

Saturday, February 4th

Samuel E. Wood Awards

In 1958, the Stout Student Association (SSA) created an award to be given to students for non-academic contributions to the school. The 21st Congress in 1991 unanimously passed a resolution to dedicate the Medallion Award to Samuel E. Wood, Assistant Chancellor of Student Services, for his services to the SSA, the Greek Community, and the students of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The Medallion Award is given to less than one percent of the full-time enrollment of Stout. The award winners receive their medallions at the annual Leadership Awards Reception.

This award is a self-nomination, open to Seniors graduating in Spring or Fall 2023, and the application cycle will run from January 1st, 2023, to March 3rd, 2023. Go here to read more and for the rubric and style guide. The application will be open starting January 1st. For questions, please email the SSA Vice President, Fiona Lindsay, at ssavicepres@uwstout.edu
