Officer Transitions and End of Semester To-Dos
As the semester begins to wrap up, make sure to do the following:
Pick up any mail or packages for your org at the Involvement Center front desk. If you aren't sure if you have mail, stop by the desk to check.
Update who has access to your org's uwstout.edu email. Remove anyone who is no longer an officer, and make sure to add anyone who will need access in spring. For instructions on how to do this, go here: https://kb.uwstout.edu/52300.
Submit any reimbursements by 5/21, more information is below in this email.
Update your officer list on CONNECT, more information is below in this email.
If you have a storage locker in the Involvement Center, go through what is in the locker and throw out any trash or perishable items.
Reimbursements Deadline 5/21
If you made a purchase for your student org and need to be reimbursed, the last day to request a reimbursement is May 21, 2025. Please submit your reimbursement request in Connect prior to May 21st.
Make sure all of your officers are on your CONNECT group, and have the correct position listed. This ensures the correct people have access to CONNECT, and that the correct people can be contacted for org related updates and questions. If someone is no longer an officer for your org, update them to be a past officer.
If you need help updating your officers, email Involvement: involvement@uwstout.edu. If you know you've added an officer and see that they were removed and are missing, please contact Involvement so we can try to find the issue.
Fall 2025 Blanket Reservations in the MSC/Price Commons Now Open
Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2025 are now open on CONNECT here: https://cglink.me/2db/s95248. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Fall Semester 2025 (September 3, 2025 – December 11, 2025).
NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons).
Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only.
Blanket Reservation Requests will only be accepted from one authorized representative from each student organization.
Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.

Add Alt Text to Your CONNECT Event Images
When you are creating events on CONNECT, make sure to be adding alt text to your images. This is especially important when your events are published in Campus Life Today and other emails. For more resources on digital accesibility go here: https://kb.uwstout.edu/144925
On the leaderboard, you can sort by category to see how you compete with similiar type and sized orgs. All orgs can reach gold status by earning 800 points.
