Monday Meet Ups are a series of collaborative, various themed evening events that allow you to get to know other Blue Devils and take some time to refresh and learn more about you. This week’s Monday Meet Up is all about Poetry to commemorate National Poetry Month!
This event is co-sponsored between the English and Philosophy Department, he Literature Committee and the Involvement Center to allow us to bring in Karen Loeb, Professor Emerita UW Eau Claire, and Eau Claire Writer in Residence from 2018-2020. UW-Stout's creative writing professor Daniel Ruefman will lead a mini-workshop following Karen's reading. You can also learn about some types of poetry and techniques and also allow you to submit and share some of your own work! We look forward to seeing you at this upcoming Monday Meetup!

Are you a Bingo fan? We have bingo nights happening every Wednesday of the semester. Join us on Teams to play virtually. Those lucky enough to get a BINGO (or two) can win virtual giftcards and prizes. Join us alongside your other fellow Blue Devils for a night of *virtual* fun!
We will be reviewing skills that can be used when in a professional setting that requires basic dining etiquette. This may involve a guest speaker who will virtually present via Teams on these skills.
Are you an off-campus student moving out of your apartment? And do you have things that you no longer want? You can donate, recycle, and/or dispose of many of these items at our Spring Move-Out event! Students must register before the event.
2021 Fitness Competition starts Monday, April 12th and ends Friday, April 23rd. A FREE event that any Stout student, faculty, or staff member can participate in by picking up a scorecard from the Health and Fitness Center (HFC) Desk in the Sports and Fitness Center. The scorecard needs to be returned to the HFC Desk by April 23rd along with verification submissions. Prizes will be drawn and announced on Monday, April 26th.
Now Hiring Math TLC Teaching Assistants for 2021-2022
The Math TLC is NOW HIRING Teaching Assistants (TAs) for the 2021-2022 academic year. Math TLC TAs support students in MATH 10 (Fundamentals of Algebra) and MATH 90 (Intermediate Algebra) courses with an integrated online/classroom/tutor lab requirement.
Minimum qualifications include:
Successful completion of MATH 90 in the Math TLC with a grade of A or A- and a recommendation from your instructor
OR
Completion of MATH 118 or higher with a grade of at least B+
OR
Math Placement Test score of Level 4 or higher and concurrent enrollment in calculus

The UW-Stout Writing Center offers online support to UW-Stout students with writing projects like papers, reports, resumes, and personal statements.
Students may reserve a Live Chat virtual meeting or submit documents for an Email Tutorial. Plan ahead and request an appointment by visiting the Writing Center’s scheduling site. The Writing Center is open through Tuesday, May 4.
