There are a lot of important dates quickly approaching: Homecoming, Org Re-Registration, Leadership Summit, etc!  Make sure your org is hitting these deadlines.  Read on for reminders and new info.

Homecoming is right around the corner and campus wants your org to compete in activities throughout the weeklong celebration!  Blue Devil Productions will be hosting an informational meeting so that you can learn how to get involved.

Homecoming Informational Meeting

Come join us at 7pm, either in person or virtually, to learn about all of the fun competition-based events that will be happening during the week of Homecoming, how to register your team, and how the competitions will be operated. If you are interested in creating a team to participate in the competitions during Homecoming week, we will be go over that in this meeting. If you have any questions, feel free to email Justin.

Last week we announced that the org re-registration process is now OPEN!  Make sure you complete both parts of the process by Monday, October 4th to stay recognized.

Leadership Summit 2021

Join us at the 10th Annual Leadership Summit as we help your organization kick off the year. Network with other leaders and participate in breakout sessions that will help you grow as a leader.
All organizations are required to send at least one officer to the event, though more are welcome to attend.

Work for the Student Centers! We are Hiring!

Our Student Centers Team is hiring for a number of positions and they just so happen to be one of the best places to work on campus! 

Positions have a minimum starting wage of at least $9.75, flexible work schedules, a fun team environment and supportive supervisors!

Open Positions Include:

  • Building Managers
  • Civic Engagement Event Lead
  • Conferences & Events
  • Custodial
  • Social Justice Event Lead

As a reminder, student orgs are REQUIRED to track attendance at all events and meetings so that campus can have accurate data for any potential contact tracing efforts.

CONNECT is the preferred method for tracking attendance and has multiple easy ways to do so!  

If your attendees didn't register before the event on CONNECT, make sure you enable the "RSVP'ed at the door" option.

The below images show you how to do this when using a card reader.

If you need to enable "RSVP at the door" with the QR code tracking method, you can do this within your Event Settings under Attendance Tracking Options.
