WERF is the statewide educator recruitment fair organized by Career Center staff and co-sponsored by all the teacher education programs in Wisconsin.
About Virtual Career Fairs through Handshake
Unlike an in-person fair, there will be no “lines” of candidates during the virtual fair. Meet with employers through 30-minute Group Sessions and/or 1:1 recruiter/student sessions.
Group Sessions are 30 minutes and allow several students to meet with a recruiter at the same time.
1:1 Sessions are 10 minutes and allow each student to meet with a recruiter individually.
To sign up for a school district's sessions, click on "Available Sessions."
You can sign up for sessions prior to and during the fair. You are encouraged to sign up for these sessions prior to WERF so you can secure your spot! You can sign up for as many Group Sessions and 1:1 Sessions as you can fit into your schedule.
View Handshake's guide for candidates - Signing Up for & Managing Virtual Fair Sessions to see step-by-step instructions and screenshots.
