Scholarship. Service. Leadership. Friendship. These are the values found within fraternities and sororities at UW-Stout. And since 1952, these Greek life groups have played an important role in the lives of thousands of students and alumni.
Fraternity and sorority involvement can be one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences during your college career. You’ll meet others through social events, volunteer in the community, feel supported academically and grow interpersonally. But so much more than that, it offers you a sense of belonging on campus.
Scholarship: Chapters acknowledge that members are students first and provide an environment that supports academic growth and achievement with minimum GPA requirements.
Leadership: Students have countless opportunities to lead including officer and chair positions within the chapters or throughout the community.
Service: Chapters value giving back to the community and invest both time and money through service and philanthropic efforts locally and beyond.
Friendship: Students build meaningful relationships and lifelong bonds with others which creates a sense of community, accountability, and support.
