Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.

We are Hiring!
The Memorial Student Center and Price Commons are hiring! Consider joining our team and having one of the best jobs on campus!
We have a variety of open positions:
The Involvement Center is looking to hire a student who is a great programmer who has an interest in helping program around Social Justice Issues. Submit cover letter, resume, and one campus reference to apply. Applications are due by Noon, December 11. Feel free to reach out to Jennifer Lee if you have questions.
Are you interested in making a difference on campus? You can apply to be a member of the Student Organizational Conduct Oversight Committee (SOCOC for short) or apply to be a University Court Justice. The SOCOC investigates allegations of organizations violating the Student Organization Code of Conduct. This committee sends its findings to the University Court for evaluation and a decision. Justices support UW-Stout by helping student organizations stay focused on student values and the Code of Conduct, while reviewing the findings of the SOCOC, and taking action if they are not following the Code of Conduct. Compensation is available.
Face masks being sewn by university students for local children
In the lower level of the Memorial Student Center, Monday evenings means mask-making for some University of Wisconsin-Stout students.
While some of them cut fabric, others pin it together. In another area, a sewing machine is set up to finish the masks.
The students are working toward the goal of 2,000 masks to give to Menomonie elementary schools to help protect children, curb the spread of COVID-19 and give to others.
