Last Chance for 2023-24 Contingency Funds

Requests for SSA contingency money to be used for the rest of this year must be in by Friday, April 5th as the last hearings for the semester will be Monday April 8th. Budget request instructions are here. Sign up for a 5-minute hearing. Sign up sooner rather than later.

Volunteer Opportunities

Eau Claire Marathon
Eau Claire Marathon is April 27th - 28th and we are looking for volunteers to make it a successful event! Groups that gather at least 10 volunteers are eligible for incentive payments toward fundraising goals. Dunn County Humane Society Volunteers Wanted
The Dunn County Humane Society is looking for volunteers to help out at the shelter and work at future events. Our next event is the Community Rummage & Bake Sale, April 17th - 20th, at the Fanetti Community Center- Dunn County Ice Area. Offering your time is a great opportunity to get your organization involved in the community and contribute to a great cause. Sexual Violence Prevention Month
The UW Stout Sexual Violence Coalition is looking forward to sponsoring a number of events on campus for Sexual Violence Prevention Month in April. If your organization would like to host a table to promote this important month, they have information and supplies for you. They are also looking for organizations that would like to help with our activities on campus. Org Photos Wanted

The Involvement Center is in the process of updating our marketing, website, and social media and we want to highlight YOU! We want to show off all the great work the student orgs have been doing this past year and have relevant imagery for current and prospective students to see. If you have any photos/videos of your student org events, meetings, or members, we would love to add them to our library to potentially be featured in our new marketing materials. To submit, please upload them to this Connect form or email them to Olivia Williams at williamso@uwstout.edu.

New Process for Agency and Foundation Account Withdrawals

Announcing a new online form for requesting payments from Agency or Foundation Accounts!

  1. Complete the form with your advisor’s name and it will be routed automatically for his/her approval.
  2. Select Agency or Foundation and it will then get routed to the proper account. Your org must have an agency or foundation account for this to work. Find out more about setting one up here.
  3. You need the same items as before:
    1. Purpose of the payment
    2. Amount of payment
    3. Who to make the payment to
    4. Receipt

NOTE: For requesting the use of SSA funds you still need to request them within your funded event as always.

Blanket Reservations Open Wed 4/3

Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2024 will be opening on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Fall Semester 2024 (September 4, 2024 – December 13, 2024). To submit a request for your organization, fill out this form on Connect: https://cglink.me/2db/s94857.

NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons). If you would like to reserve a classroom space in one of the academic buildings on campus for your organization's meetings, please e-mail classrooms@uwstout.edu. Please include your name and contact info, organization name, dates needed, meeting start and end times and number of attendees in your requests.

  • Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests will only be accepted from one authorized representative from each student organization.
  • Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.
