Spring Involvement Fair Registration Open
Save the date. The Spring Involvement Fair will be on Thursday, January 26th from 5-7PM in the MSC Great Hall. If your org would like to participate, please register here. This is a great opportunity to introduce your org to new and returning students interested in exploring involvement opportunities on campus.
SSA Judicial Branch Accepting Applications
Are you interested in making a difference on campus? You can apply to be a University Court Justice. The COCO (Committee of Organizational Conduct Oversight) investigates allegations of organizations violating the Student Organization Code of Conduct, and passes these along to the University Court. Justices support UW-Stout by helping student organizations stay focused on student values and the Code of Conduct, while reviewing the findings of the COCO, and acting if they are not following the Code of Conduct. Upcoming Service Opportunities
It's that time of year again when many of our student organizations are looking to engage in community service, so we wanted to take a moment to highlight an Involvement Center opportunity that is fast approaching.
Please feel free to share this opportunity with your members. In addition, we encourage your organizations to be following our Volunteer Opportunities Feed on CONNECT for more upcoming events and opportunities.
Join us in supporting our local community by raking leaves. This is a great way for your org members to volunteer together. Check-in will begin at 12pm in the Involvement Center with the bus departing at 12:20pm. Please plan to attend the entirety of the event.
Registration must be received by 9am on November 2nd to participate.
Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2023 will open on Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00AM. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Spring Semester 2023 (January 23, 2023 - May 3, 2023). To submit a request for your organization, fill out this Blanket Reservation Request form on Connect: https://cglink.me/2db/s79930.
NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons). If you would like to reserve a classroom space in one of the academic buildings on campus for your organization's meetings, please e-mail classrooms@uwstout.edu. If you prefer to book a space in the Sports Complex, please contact Erik Johnson, Facilities Manager (johnsone@uwstout.edu). Please include your name and contact info, organization name, dates needed, meeting start and end times and number of attendees in your requests.
Blanket Reservation Requests cannot be made using the EMS Web App.
Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only.
Blanket Reservation Requests will only be accepted from one authorized representative from each student organization.
Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.
