Join the SSA Sustainability Council for Earth Week, taking place April 18-22nd. The council will be hosting a variety of events in collaboration with student organizations and the campus garden!
Come show us your talents! Or come watch those stepping up to perform! Anything goes so if you have just one joke or twenty, or if you have one song or five, you are more than welcome to come to entertain! Signups start at 7 pm and the show starts at 8. We will go until we run out of acts or hit 10 pm.
International Club is hosting an iftar potluck. Iftar, the meal served at the end of a day during the month of Ramadan, is an opportunity to break fast and socialize with friends and family.
All are welcome to join the iftar potluck but we encourage you to bring a dish to share.
Practicing Muslims: there will be an opportunity for prayer.
Please join us on April 21st, 6-7:30 pm, to learn more about the history of logging in Dunn County and how it shaped Dunn County as a whole and Menomonie. The discussion will include positives and negatives such as the economic boom, the environmental impacts (then and now), and more!
Greetings all! The weather is starting to become nice enough for NAC to begin hosting events again. We would like to kick things off by cleaning up and removing trash from Galloway Creek. Attendees will be equipped with either buckets or trash bags, and either a set of gloves or claw grips. Our goal is simply to remove as much litter as possible. In the past, we've removed things such as beds, box springs, couches, and even TV dishes. I'm sure a lot of trash has built up over the winter, so they'll be plenty to do! All trash will be bagged and piled so the City of Menomonie can haul it off to the dump.
*NOTICE* Please wear comfortable sturdy shoes and cloths that you are willing to muddy, dirty, and/or wet. THANK YOU!
Whoa der guy! Ya gotta get in line for dem dere tickets for Charlie Berens! They will be available in the Service Center in the MSC until supply runs out! Prices start at $5 for students and $10 for community members/non-students before the show date.
