Happy Summer Student Org Leaders!!!
We've got some summer updates to set your group up for success!
Fall Event Registration
New students have been loaded into CONNECT and are beginning to seek opportunities to join your group! What attracts them? Events! Be sure to get your September events planned and in CONNECT so the new students can find you! Event registration and check-in remains required for all student organization activities.
New Officer Email Access
Officers that currently have access to your org email can grant access to incoming officers. Directions on how to add/remove permissions for others can be found on CONNECT.
SPENDING DEADLINE FRIDAY
Did you make a purchase or do you have something left to purchase on the 2021-22 annual budget (or any contingencies)? You have until NOON on Friday, June 18th to put forward any of those purchase requests in CONNECT. On July 1st the new fiscal year begins and you can begin spending your 2022-23 budget allocations.

Officer Transition Checklist
Speaking of transitioning, did you know that the Involvement Center has a checklist available to help your org have a smooth officer transition? Find the complete list on the Involvement website.
Backyard Bash Registration
The 2022 event will be held in-person on September 6th from 5pm-7pm. To be included, student organizations must complete registration no later than August 30th.
Each fall you are required to re-register for recognition. This will be open from September 1st through the Leadership Summit (September 19th). Watch for registration and further instructions soon!
Update your Officers in CONNECT
Make sure the right folks are getting your org ready for fall! To do so add them as group officers in CONNECT.
It’s imperative that your officers are up-to-date to get imporant information. Our office will be communicating with orgs over the summer in prep for fall semester. If your officers are outdated, your org won’t have the information it needs to be recognized.
