The Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership offers scholarships to undergraduate students at each of the University of Wisconsin System’s four-year campuses. Scholarships are intended for undergraduates who have shown public leadership in their lives in a way that reflects the general legacy of Governor Tommy G. Thompson. One scholarship award of $3,000 to one student at each of the thirteen University of Wisconsin System campuses per academic year. Visit the webpage for more information. Each year the National Conference on Undergraduate Research hosts 4,000 students to share research and creative works in all fields. It’s at UW-Eau Claire this academic year. Students can apply to present via a poster, speech, gallery exhibit, music/theatre performance, literary reading, film, collaborative art, and more. Learn more here and apply by November 30.

SSA Judicial Branch is Accepting Applications

Are you interested in making a difference on campus? You can apply to be a University Court Justice. The COCO (Committee of Organizational Conduct Oversight) investigates allegations of organizations violating the Student Organization Code of Conduct, and passes these along to the University Court. Justices support UW-Stout by helping student organizations stay focused on student values and the Code of Conduct, while reviewing the findings of the COCO, and acting if they are not following the Code of Conduct. Compensation is available. Court Justice Application.
