Important Fall Dates

  • 8/1-8/28: Backyard Bash table sign-up open
  • 8/1-12/5: Fall Org Points Competition
  • 9/1-9/30: Org re-registration open

  • 10/20-10/25: Homecoming Week and Parade

Backyard Bash Registration Opens 8/1

The sign-up form to table at Backyard Bash will open on August 1st. All groups wanting to table must complete the form by August 28th. 

Backyard Bash will be Tuesday, September 2nd from 5-7PM. Org check-in will be from 2:30-4:45PM at the Involvement Center where you will receive your table number.

All registered groups will be provided one table. You must provide your own chairs. Anything you are tabling with must fit on or behind your table. Power is not provided. 

Add Your Org Events to CONNECT

The 2025-2026 event approval form is now live. Orgs can now start uploading their events and meetings into CONNECT. If you need help creating an event in CONNECT, contact involvement@uwstout.edu. 

Prepare for Org Re-Registration

Org re-registration is open from September 1st- September 30th. All orgs must complete this process by September 30th or your org will be deactivated. 

Start preparing now to make your re-registration easier:

  • Update your officer list on your CONNECT group. Remove anyone who is no longer an officer. Add any missing officers and make sure everyone has the correct position listed.
  • Update your org's constitution. Constitutions must be updated every two years, and your constitution will need to be from 2023 or sooner.
  • RSVP to the Fall Leadership Summit Officer Training. All orgs must have at least one officer attend the training on September 15th from 6-9PM as part of re-registration.

Participate in WAY STOUT WEST Homecoming 2025

Get excited for WAY STOUT WEST: October 20-25, 2025! Start thinking of your org's soapbox car design, parade float, and your best outfit for the Hoedown Throwdown! More details on events, registration, and ways to get involved will be coming soon. Until then, grab your hats and hold onto your horses — Homecoming 2025 is going to be a rootin’-tootin’ good time!

Update Your Org Email Access

Make sure to check your org's uwstout.edu email account access. Remove anyone who is no longer an officer, and add any new officers who need access. For instructions on how to do this go here: https://kb.uwstout.edu/52300. 

Fall 2025 Blanket Reservations in the MSC/Price Commons Now Open

Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2025 are now open on CONNECT here: https://cglink.me/2db/s95248. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Fall Semester 2025 (September 3, 2025 – December 11, 2025). 

NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons). 

  • Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests will only be accepted from one authorized representative from each student organization.
  • Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.
