This event is first come first serve. If you would like a seat at this event we recommend showing up a couple of minutes early. There is no virtual link to this movie, it is an in-person exclusive.
Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world.
The Involvement Center is proud to announce a fabulous virtual baking event co-sponsored by the Qube and Blue Devil Productions. Warm your apartments by turning on the ovens and whip up cupcakes with UW-Stout alumnus, Coltan! They'll teach you how to create Rainbow Confetti Cupcakes, a tasty favorite from their must-have book Spread Love (and buttercream).
Please view the event's File Attachments to find the Recipe and Baking Supplies you will need to follow alongside Coltan!

NAC is sponsoring a "snowshoe to bonfire" social! Snowshoes are free for all registered participants, we just ask that those interested register on connect , that way we have an accurate estimate on how many pairs of snowshoes to rent.
The event will be held at Lake Menomin Park on February 6th- starting at 2:45 PM. We'll start by handing out snowshoes, then depart for the bonfires together at 3:00 PM
-A little information about the bonfires-
Last semester, a group of biology students cut down and piled up invasive plant species along the web of trails within Lake Menomin Park. To finishing what they've started, we would like to burn the piles.
PLEASE NOTE: No physical or hard labor required, just have fun traipsing through the winter wonderland.

The Samuel E. Wood Award for Student Leadership looks to recognize our Student Leaders who will be graduating in the coming Spring and following Fall, for their non-academic contributions to the community at UW-Stout.
This includes but is not limited to leadership in Student Organizations, Housing, Greek Life, Preforming Arts, Athletics, On-Campus Employment, and so on. We want to hear your involvement stories and see how you have improved as a person, helped improve others, or the campus!
This is a very prestigious award only given to less than 1% of graduates each year, it is also the highest non-academic award any student at UW-Stout can achieve!
There is an application process which will also require at least two letters of recommendation from people who are aware of our involvement in the Stout Community, and a cover letter along with the application so those who will be reviewing the applications can get a better sense of you and our involvement at Stout!
More details such as the application, style guide, specific examples of what we are looking for and more can all be found on the SSA Connect Website. Applications are due March 1st at 11:59pm!
Do you ride the StoutRoute or Community Route buses? We want your feedback! Take a couple of minutes to tell us what you do or don't like about the bus service here. We will use your feedback to work with Dunn County Transit to provide the best service possible.
