Seasoned comedy writers Joe Pickett (The Onion) and Nick Prueher (veteran of the Late Show with David Letterman) have teamed up to take UW-Stout on a guided tour of their absurd, and real, VHS collection. They have been featured on a variety of outlets such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, America’s Got Talent, Tosh.0, TruTv and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Their Frankenstein monster was created in 2004 and has since gone on to sell out hundreds of shows and been featured at events such as HBO Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs and even Bonnaroo. Please join us at Joe and Nick resurrect these lost video treasures and serve them up in the funniest, craziest show since your roommates took turns showing random YouTube videos.

UW-Stout COVID Update

Q. Why is it taking so long to get my test results back?

While the UW-Stout positive COVID cases are currently being maintained at relatively low levels, you may be aware that the state of Wisconsin and Dunn County are seeing high levels of cases, including hospitalizations. Because of the current situation in our state, the testing labs are backed up and test results can take as long as 4 –5 days for return. There are only so many labs for test results in the state of Wisconsin, and when the demand for PCR testing increases, the wait time for results also increases.

Q. What safety precautions should students use for Halloween?

In order to keep our current number of COVID positive cases low, students must follow the COVID safety guidelines. It is especially important that you avoid crowds or gatherings beyond your current household. Wear a mask at all times and social distance, especially when you are indoors. If you want to be in the Halloween spirit and wear a costume on that day, make sure your costume includes a COVID mask and not just a Halloween mask. If you celebrate Halloween, do so with just a few people, practicing all precautions and making sure that you are always taking care of one another. It’s the Blue Devil way.
