Backyard Bash

The 2022 event will be held in-person on September 6th from 5pm-7:30pm. To be included, student organizations must complete registration no later than August 30th. Register Now!

Student organizations do not need to make their own Connect event for Backyard Bash. Once registered, they will be added as a co-host to the Involvement Center's event.

Leadership Summit

The 2022 event will be held in-person on Monday, September 19th from 6-9PM. Student organizations are required to have at least one officer attend to remain recognized for the year. Watch for more details and instructions soon.

Blanket Reservation Reminder


Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2022 opened on April 7th. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Fall Semester 2022 (September 7, 2022 - December 13, 2022). If you still need to submit a request for your organization, fill out this form on Connect.

NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons). If you would like to reserve a classroom space in one of the academic buildings on campus for your organization's meetings, please e-mail classrooms@uwstout.edu. If you'd prefer to book a space in the Sports Complex, please contact Erik Johnson, Facilities Manager. Please include your name and contact info, organization name, dates needed, meeting start and end times and number of attendees in your requests.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests cannot be made using the EMS Web App.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests will only be accepted from one authorized representative from each student organization.
  • Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.

Meal Pack-A-Thon Sign-Up


The Meal Pack-A-Thon with Menomonie Rotary is Monday, October 10th in the MSC. Volunteer shifts are open to individuals, student orgs, and groups. If your org is planning to volunteer together, please have members sign up for the same time slots and indicate which org they are participating with.

Advisor Roundtable


The Advisor Kickoff Roundtable for student org advisors will be August 30th from 12:15-1:15PM in the MSC Birch Room. Join us for a discussion on the student org renewal process, the annual timeline for orgs, the student org code of conduct, and the basics of Connect.
