Hello org officers –

Welcome to your first edition of The Loop for the 2019-2020 school year.  The Loop will keep you informed bi-weekly of important announcements, deadlines and tools to help manage your organization.  Read on for your first round of updates.

Leadership Summit

If you didn’t know by now, you’re required to send at least one officer to the Leadership Summit to remain recognized for the year. All orgs who haven’t yet registered have been contacted.  Please get an officer registered by Thursday, September 20th at midnight.

The Leadership Summit will get officers ready and trained for the year offering various breakout sessions to help you manage your org!

Join us at the 8th Annual Leadership Summit as we help your organization kick off the year. Network with other leaders and participate in breakout sessions that will help you grow as a leader.
All organizations are required to send at least one officer to the event, though more are welcome to attend.

Time to Re-Register

Org Re-Registration

All orgs are required to re-register their org annually to stay recognized.  Re-registration is done via CONNECT starting Monday, September 23rd

All orgs will have 10 days to complete the org re-registration form and have officers confirm their positions.

Got questions? We have answers.  Refer to our student org website throughout the year for resources on event planning, applying for funding, officer transition and more.
 

Career Conference Volunteers Needed!

Boost your resume, network with employers, and build leadership skills.  Career Services needs approximately 200 volunteers across three days!  Sign up to volunteer

We can track volunteers and would be willing to send a list of those if needed – email Liz Julian at to set up tracking for your organization.
