Additional Mental Health Services Available for Students
UW Stout students now have access to increased free round-the-clock mental health resources through a new you.uwstout.edu web based platform. The new enhanced online services are available due to the generosity of federal funding and the State of Wisconsin. The services are available to all students, including Customized Instruction students. The YOU platform increases mental health services and crisis support services, while also connecting students to existing campus resources. Students log in with their Stout credentials. A snapshot of services offered on the new platform include:
•    24/7 Crisis line which is available via call or text (888) 531-2142; or chat with a counselor.
•    Clinically informed and culturally responsive teletherapy and telepsychiatry support available during the day, evenings and weekends through Mantra Health. Stout students can connect with the teletherapy services directly through the you.uwstout.edu website or via help from the Counseling Center staff who can answer questions or schedule support. Those who are interested in the telepsychiatry services should contact the Counseling Center for a referral.
•    The confidential platform you.uwstout.edu offers independent goal setting, skill building, assessments, evidence-based content covering a wide variety of topics, and links to campus resources.

Questions regarding teletherapy and telepsychiatry services as well as the 24/7 UW Mental Health Support crisis line can be directed to the counseling center or by calling 7152322468.
