This nonviolent peace march is to come together as a student body by standing in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and all marginalized communities. We want to send a message to our community that says that we will not stand for racism, misogyny, homophobia, and other forms of oppression. We will march unafraid.
It will be an intense filled game of teamwork to see who can identify famous movie quotes, song lyrics and beats, TV show lines, and more! We'll be giving away great prizes! Work with a partner or group and stop by to see which team is the expert on identifying those sounds!
The Blue Devil Market is also having a pizza deal to commemorate. Make sure to stop there before or after this event to enjoy 12" pizzas for $5!
Natural Areas will continue to work on removing the invasive species buckthorn, honeysuckle, and siberian elm. We will provide all of the necessary tools. All you need to bring is yourself, a sturdy pair of shoes, some water to keep hydrated, and an old outer layer that won't be ruined if you catch an ember from the brush fire. People are free to bring snowshoes or skis to take a trip around the trails. If nothing else, the area makes for great hiking! ƒÿè

This notice is being provided to confirm our commitment to wearing masks. Our mask requirements will remain consistent regardless of any changes at the state and local levels.
Sit while you eat - sitting helps increase focus and we become more in control over how much we consume
Slow down your chewing - savor the taste, smell, and flavor of the food! With each bite we become habituated and eat without savoring, so slowing down will help us become more mindful
Simplify your environment - people struggle with choice overload and decision making with food. Narrow it down to a theme for the meal and that helps simplify meal planning
Consider where you place your food - keep a bowl filled with healthy snacks by the door, keep healthy snacks at work, and make sure fruits and vegetables are visible in the refrigerator.
Listen to your body - eat when your body tells you you are hungry (stomach growls, low energy) and eat only until you are full
Change how you eat - eat with other people at set times and places, and don’t multitask or watch tv
Connect with food - you will be on a deeper level with food when you understand where it comes from and all the people involved in producing the meal that is in front of you
