Blue Devil Productions is proud to present Aiko Tanaka to our campus for a free comedy show.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Aiko is a stand-up comedian, actress and TV personality. She first appeared in the theatrical film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and was featured in the Justin Lin mockumentary film Finishing the Game, about Bruce Lee's last film. Aiko has been featured on The Jim Jeffries Show and The Howard Stern Show, and most recently in Comedy Central Stand-Up Asia! Live.
The Career Services Job Shadowing Program provides you an opportunity to go to an employer site and shadow a professional in a career field of interest. This opportunity will allow you to experience a “day in the life” of a professional as well as a glimpse of daily operations within their organization.
Women's and Gender Studies faculty Alison Lukowski and Rickie-Ann Legleitner will lead this presentation and discussion on the intersection of Halloween costumes, gender expectations, and rape culture.

Have you ever wanted to design your own PCB? We will be teaching you how to design your own PCB board and how to order them to be fabricated. No need to install any software, just bring your own laptop.
This workshop will be held in Fryklund Hall RM 201S at 6pm.
Service Club and Crafting Club will be collaborating on this event to bring students and members the opportunity to knit/crochet simple kitchen rags to donate! All materials will be provided, and beginner lessons will be given, plus we will have experts helping out and answering questions! *Please try and register no less than 2 days in advance so that we can gather materials*
Additionally, we are collecting coats, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. of any size to donate to the local Helping Hands as many people in our community do not have the proper means to stay warm. If you bring some donations, you can get extra service hours! This day (November 6th) will be the last day that donations are taken!
This workshop, led by CEO Jen Torres from SimplyLead LLC, focuses on historical oppressive systems in America and how to become a driver for change; it is open to all UW-Stout students, faculty, and staff.
The Commencement Committee is once again seeking graduating students to apply to be the student speaker for December Commencement. Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m. for undergraduates and 2:00 p.m. for graduates. The deadline to apply to be the student speaker is Friday, November 3.

Are you neurodivergent? Do you have a special interest? Join Neuriodivergent club.
Neurodiversity club seeking neurodivergent people (Autistic, ADHD, dyslexia, epilepsy, Tourette's, etc) at UW-Stout to share their talents and special interests in a visual format (3' x 3' booth), for an event on November 11th called Hyperfixation and Education: A Showcase of Neurodiversity in the MSC Ballrooms. Our Caucus starts at 6:30pm with our full Senate Meeting starting at 7:00pm.
The University Student Senate is the legislative body of the Stout Student Association and meets weekly to discuss university policy and shared governance, allocate fees, promote new initiatives in support of the students, and hear from campus leaders.
