As we move into Spring semester, many of your org operations will continue to look different. If you’re a new or returning officer, join us for an overview of the COVID student org guidelines and the mandatory event registration process. We will also answer your questions and highlight CONNECT tools that will make org and event management a breeze. This workshop is ideal for Presidents, Recruitment Officers, and anyone responsible for planning events within your organization.

REGISTER YOUR EVENTS ON CONNECT

All events/meetings/activities must be registered in CONNECT and must outline precautions you will take with COVID-19.

Events need to be submitted a minimum of 3 business days in advance to allow review, however, if receiving funding, there is a 2-week minimum requirement.

CONTRACT REMINDER

If you plan to host a contracted performer/speaker, the Student Org Contract (SSA Funded) form needs to be submitted 4 weeks in advance.

This is a time sensitive process and if you find your event is less than 4 weeks away, contact Heidi Germain.  Orgs will not receive any reimbursement if the form is completed after the event.

As a reminder, payment to performers/speakers cannot begin until all paperwork has been completed and returned. Payments will be mailed via a University check after the event.

Recruit New Members

Need help recruiting new members?

Consider hosting an information session at the start of the semester for interested students. Allowing a space for students to learn about your org, ask questions and meet members goes a long way in reaching your membership goals.

REMINDERS FOR REACHING STUDENTS

Print Recruitment Posters | We provide free posters each semester for all orgs.

Have a Presence on Social Media | Better yet, tag @uwstoutmsc and we'll help spread the word about what you're up to!
