2021 Samuel E. Wood Medallion Award Application Open!
The Samuel E. Wood Medallion Award recognizes student leaders graduating in the coming spring and following fall, for their non-academic contributions to UW-Stout community. This includes but is not limited to leadership in Student Organizations, Housing, Greek Life, Performing Arts, Athletics, On-Campus Employment, and so on. We want to hear your involvement stories and see how you have grown as a leader, helped inspire others, and contributed to campus.
This prestigious award is given to less than 1% of graduates each year and is also the highest non-academic award any student at UW-Stout can achieve. The application process requires two letters of recommendation, a cover letter and a written application outlining your involvement at Stout.
More details such as the application, style guide, specific examples of what we are looking for and more can all be found on the SSA CONNECT Website.
