1. Simplify things - reduce your to do list and focus on the things you love or absolutely need to get done. This will help save your time and energy and help with motivation.
2. Stand in a power pose - your internal body chemistry physically changes when you stand tall with your hands on your hips and your shoulders back, chest out. Don’t forget to smile while doing it!
3. Take a fresh start - everyone does this January 1st for a reason! Set measurable goals and forget the past and move on.
4. Eat some chocolate - chocolate increases serotonin and triggers the release of dopamine which will elevate your mood and increase motivation.
5. Write a contract - make a commitment to doing something and have a friend monitor that you’re getting it done.
6. Look at something green - seeing the color green in the leaves and trees outside makes people happier and encourages creativity.
7. Focus on your accomplishments - measure your success on how far you’ve come, not how far you have to go. Problem solve, visualise, and measure your progress. Don’t forget to celebrate your success!
8. Increase Gratitude - express gratitude for what you have and you will be less fixated on others, It will also increase your energy and feelings of abundance.
