Org Re-Registration Steps

Student organization re-registration is open until September 30th. You must complete all steps to remain an active, registered org.

1- Have one officer complete the re-registration form on your CONNECT group's dashboard. If your officers have different titles than president, vice president, treasurer, and officer; list the officer that most closely matches those titles. You must also upload a constitution that has been updated in 2022 or sooner.
2- All officers and advisors will be emailed the officer/advisor agreement form. Everyone must sign the agreement form.
3- At least one officer must attend the Fall Leadership Summit, but all are encouraged to attend. More information is below on how to register.

Once these steps are complete, your registration will be pending and go through the following approval steps.

1- On September 17th, the Involvement Center will confirm your org attended Leadership Summit.
2- The SSA Organizational Affairs Committee will review your registration form and constitution for any errors or missing materials.
3- Once your org is fully approved, your status will change to registered and you will be an active, registered org for the 2024-2025 academic year.

For questions please email involvement@uwstout.edu or ssaorgaffairs@uwstout.edu

New Org Registration Now Open

For those interested in starting a new student organization on-campus, the form can be found by going to CONNECT, clicking the groups dropdown, and clicking all groups. On the top of the page is the link to the form.

You must have at least four officers, an advisor that is a staff or faculty member at Stout, and create a constitution and one year plan.

All officers of a new org are highly encouraged to attend the Fall Leadership Summit so that you are trained on how to run and manage your new org once it is approved.

Once you complete the new org registration form, the SSA Organizational Affairs Committee will reach out to invite your group to an SSA OAC meeting and explain next steps.

For questions on starting a new org please email involvement@uwstout.edu or ssaorgaffairs@uwstout.edu
