Leadership Summit Registration is Open

The 2023 Leadership Summit is Thursday, September 21st from 6-9PM in the MSC Great Hall.

Register here on CONNECT. Once you register to the event you will be redirected to a survey asking what org you are representing.

All orgs must have at least one officer attend the Leadership Summit as part of org re-registration but all are encouraged to attend.

Blanket Room Reservations

If your organization submitted a Blanket Reservation Request for a meeting space in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons) for this Fall 2023, the contact person listed in the request will be receiving confirmation information or communication the week of August 7, 2023.

Blanket reservation requests for Fall Semester 2023 opened on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Blanket reservations are for student organization’s weekly/reoccurring meetings that reserve the same time and day weekly or biweekly for Fall Semester 2023 (September 6, 2023 - December 13, 2023). To submit a request for your organization, complete this form on Connect.

NOTE: The Blanket Reservation Request is only for reserving meeting rooms in the Student Centers (Memorial Student Center and Merle Price Commons). If you would like to reserve a classroom space in one of the academic buildings on campus for your organization's meetings, please e-mail classrooms@uwstout.edu. If you prefer to book a space in the Sports Complex, sports clubs contact Tiara Delapp. Non sports clubs contact Erik Johnson. Please include your name and contact info, organization name, dates needed, meeting start and end times and number of attendees in your requests.

  • Blanket Reservation Requests cannot be made using the EMS Web App.
  • Blanket Reservation Requests will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis only and are subject to space availability.
  • Student organizations are only allowed a maximum of two blanket reservations per organization per semester.

Important Fall Dates


August 31: Last day to register for Backyard Bash. Any orgs who do not register by 8/31 will not be given a table or be able to participate.

September 1: Org re-registration opens. All orgs must re-register each year with SSA on CONNECT.

September 5: Backyard Bash. Org check in is from 4-5PM at the Involvement Center. 

September 21: Leadership Summit. Each org must have at least one officer attend.

October 9-14: Homecoming. Watch for more info from BDP on how your org can participate.

Involvement Center Open During Summer

The Involvement Center is open during the summer Monday-Friday from 9AM-4:30PM. If you're in Menomonie you can beat the rush and start getting your org ready for fall:
  • Check your org mail and pick up any checks or packages you may have
  • Clean and organize your org storage locker
  • Submit your fall event and recruitment posters to be printed
  • Submit your fall digital signage to be approved
  • Use the Creation Station for your org's craft needs
  • Meet with professional staff to answer any questions on org funding, travel, contracts, event approvals on CONNECT, and more
