Virtual Student-Employer Mock Interviews
Sharpen your interview skills! Practice interviewing with an employer in your field, get valuable feedback, and build confidence before the real thing. For students in: - All majors Each mock interview session will be 45 minutes long, consisting of 30-minute interview followed by 10 minutes for feedback and 5 minutes for transition. Students must sign up by October 13th for a mock interview with a company of your own choosing. Government & Nonprofit Career Fair
It’s career fair season! Now is the time to connect with employers and build relationships. If you’re interested in working for a government or nonprofit agency, read on. UW-Stout Polytechnic is participating in the 2026 Government & Nonprofit Career Fair at the University of Minnesota – Friday, October 23rd. Employers in attendance are looking to hire interns and professional positions. This career fair is only open to students and alumni from participating colleges and universities. To attend the fair, you must register with UW-Stout Polytechnic Career Services. This session focuses on writing strong bullet points, tailoring your resume for applicant tracking systems (ATS), and understanding what to do if you’re not hearing back from employers.
