Before You Apply

Learn about each position we offer and decide which position(s) you would like to apply for below. Read the position descriptions listed below to learn about each of our employment opportunities. Think about which position you might qualify for.  Have you officiated sports in the past? Think about applying to be an intramural official. Have you worked in customer service? Put in an application for a desk attendant position.

For most Urec positions work study is preferred, but not required. All applicants and staff are encouraged to complete the FAFSA on a yearly basis. To check if you have a work study, log-in to Access Stout and review your financial aid award. If you were not awarded work study, call the Financial Aid Office to see if you qualify.

Get to know our operations! We tend to hire students who utilize, are familiar with, or at least have an interest in our operations.

Be thoughtful and complete when filling out your application.

Applications will be reviewed by the respective program area. If positions are available, qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.

If positions are not currently available, applications may be kept on file for future openings.

University Recreation utilizes an online application. Within the application you can select the position(s) you are interested in applying for. Please follow the steps outlined in the position description.
