Off-Campus Clean Sweep: ITEMS you can donate/recycle/dispose of:

  • Furniture (couches, beds, futons, etc.)
  • Appliances (mini fridges, microwaves, toasters, etc.)
  • Electronics (TVs, computers, etc.)
  • Lamps
  • Non-Perishable Food
  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Books
  • Cooking Accessories
  • Musical Instruments
  • Pictures
  • Art
  • Tools
  • Toys
  • Linens
  • Housewares

The budget for this event is limited, so it is first-come, first-served.
Students are allowed one trip per valid student ID.
If the budget is expended, you will have to find an alternative way to recycle and/or dispose of your items.

When bringing items, you must:

  • Bring a helper -- We will try and help students remove items from their vehicles. At times, however, the event can get busy, so please bring someone to help you if you can.
  • Arrive with your own items -- If you have a family member, friend, or someone else helping you transport your items, you will need to accompany them. You can either arrive in the same vehicle or a different vehicle. If you arrive in a different vehicle, you will need to pull in first with your student ID and have the vehicle with your items pull in behind you.
  • Have your valid student ID -- You will be asked to show your student ID when you arrive.
  • You will be directed where to go by those staffing the event.
