The Historical Fencing Club at UWStout-Polytechnic seeks to be a centralized, on-campus place to safely learn and practice Historical Fencing traditions with a group of like-minded individuals who seek the same! Members of the club will participate in twice-weekly lessons in Historical Fencing traditions such as Longsword, Sabre, and Rapier. We offer access to loaner fencing gear so our members who cannot afford it or are just starting to learn the sport will be able to practice at the same level as everyone else in the club. All members will also be given information about local tournaments in the surrounding areas and a group to register for them with, assuming the club member wishes to know about them.
