About Comix Club
Comix Club is a student led organization devoted to comics! We're about both reading and creating them, with half of our meetings devoted to the creation of comics and the other half devoted to reading and discussing them.
We have six meetings focused on creating comics, each meeting slowly making a larger and larger comic until our final goal of an anthology comic! These meetings are a great time to come seeking feedback on work as well!
We have six additional "Book Club" meetings focused on discussing a voted upon comic that can be found in the UW-Stout library as well as any other books people would want to talk about and recommend!
Comix Club's goal for the 2025 fall semester is to produce a group anthology comic. The theme of the comic will be chosen by club members via a vote and the club will be devoted to slowly building up each creators confidence in making something to contribute to the anthology comic!
We'll put the theme of the group anthology comic to a vote, and

Comix Club members have until this date to create their submission for the 2025 Anthology comic and be included in the printed editions
November 21
We'll be binding the printed editions as a group. Printing will be done by Comix Club Officers.
December 6
To celebrate everyone's hard work we'll have an open read through party where we'll read each comic produced and celebrate with food and drinks!

Our introduction meeting! We'll layout the plan for the semester, as well as some ice breakers of making small quick comics together!

In this meeting we'll spend some time creating unique characters and voting upon which one will be the main character of a mini anthology
This meeting is where we will vote upon and determine the Fall 2025 Anthology Comic's theme
