About Us

We’re the Women’s Club Hockey Team at UW-Stout—a group of students who love to compete, stay active, and build community through hockey. Whether you’ve been playing since you could walk or you’re just now lacing up skates, there’s a spot for you here.

We practice 1-2 times per week and compete against other college club teams throughout the Midwest. Our team is student-led, so we value flexibility, teamwork, and having fun on and off the ice.

We’re always looking for new players, managers, and fans. If you’re passionate about the game—or just curious—reach out by email or fill out our form below. We’d love to meet you!

Mission

Women's Club Hockey here at Stout provides an opportunity for anyone to get back into the game! We play competitively, but always prioritize fun and belonging. Anyone is welcome to join our team, regardless of skill level or experience, and we encourage you to reach out for more information on team dynamics!

  • Team Dues

Though our dues vary by season, we always try to keep the amount as low as possible. Typically the amount will be between $150 and $250 per player, per season.

  • Schedule

Our team practices 1-2 times per week from the beginning of October until the end of February. These practices times usually end up being week nights from 9-10pm. We do not practice or play games over the school-set holiday breaks.

Our game schedule varies by season, but we aim to play about 10-12 games within the time we have. About 5-6 of these tend to be away games, and 4-5 will be home.

  • Member Benefits

As a member, you will be given game socks and jerseys to use, free of charge, throughout the season. We also like to do a team merch order every season, which you can choose to purchase, but it is not required. Feel free to pick and choose between the hoodies and joggers!
