Routines, Routines, Routines!!!
The pandemic has changed many of our routines. How do we try to still incorporate routines?
Well, one thing that can provide comfort to us is the idea of re-establishing what works best for our day to day schedules.
Review these aspects of your life and ask yourself if you are implementing these things that should continue to be part of your daily routine, even during COVID-19:
- Are you taking a shower or bath on a daily or every other day basis?
- Are you grooming your hair, shaving, or brushing your teeth daily?
- Are you putting-on clean clothes each day regardless if you see others or not?
- Are you eating in healthy ways which may include preparing 1 to 3 meals each day?
- Are you trying to go to sleep consistently in order to obtain 7-8 hours of sleep?
If you answer and carry-out the questions listed above at the beginning of each day, it gives you the opportunity to accomplish a number things right away, gets your day off to a good start, and makes you feel good about yourself both physically and emotionally.
