Student Death Notice
It is with much sadness that we share the unexpected passing on Sunday, April 20th, of Stout student, Leif Gunhus, a senior computer science major from Carver, Minnesota. Arrangements are pending and will be shared once finalized.

The UW-Stout Student Counseling Center offers counseling at no additional cost to students. Appointments can be scheduled online here, by calling 715-232-2468, or stopping up to 410 Bowman Hall. An additional tele counseling only option is through Mantra. You can schedule through self-referral here, or the Student Counseling Center can help you with scheduling.

If at any time you are feeling overwhelmed and need to speak with a professional immediately, you can call or stop into the Student Counseling Center Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Additionally, you can call the UW Mental Health Support 24/7 line at any time at 888-531-2142.
