Staying focused in school and motivated to complete assignments can be difficult to do-especially this time of year when we are approaching the end of the semester. Here are some tips to stay motivated and end the semester on a positive note:
• Create SMART Goals. Make sure your goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-based.
• Reward your self when you meet your goals. Go for a walk, talk with a friend, or have a snack.
• Get started. Sometimes getting started is the hardest part. Try to do something small and work your way up.
• Encourage yourself. Try not to get down on yourself if you are struggling. Everyone is here to learn and that’s what you’re doing. You can do it!
• Meet up with others who can help keep you motivated. Find a study group with your friends to help stay accountable in doing your work.
