To reach this event virtually use this link.

In Earth's future, a global crop blight and second Dust Bowl are slowly rendering the planet uninhabitable. Professor Brand (Michael Caine), a brilliant NASA physicist, is working on plans to save mankind by transporting Earth's population to a new home via a wormhole. But first, Brand must send former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and a team of researchers through the wormhole and across the galaxy to find out which of three planets could be mankind's new home.

Natural Areas Club will work on the outdoor classroom (located south of the baseball diamond, and just west of the Stout adventures outdoor rock wall and tightropes course).

The outdoor classroom is a beautiful area, but parts of it have succumb to invasive species, primarily buckthorn and honeysuckle. Therefore, to ensure the area stays healthy for future classes to come, we'd like to tackle the issue now before it becomes a bigger problem.

All nessacarily tools and equipment will be provided by NAC. We recommend participants wear long pants and sleeves.

We're having a work day at Dobbs landing this Saturday (11/14) from 1-4 PM. We're going to try to finish preparing the fire breaks in the oxbow area and burn the remaining brush piles in that area from the work day earlier this year. We also need to clean up the fire break along the property boundary to make sure it's completely on the Dobbs property (the areas circled in yellow). If we have a large turnout, some folks can split off and go work on the burn breaks on the western side of the property or tackle more of the buckthorn in the floodplain forest.
