As the first in her family to attend college, Tianna knows what it’s like to juggle multiple majors, roles, and responsibilities while secretly struggling with anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism. One day, she discovered a term for what she was experiencing — “duck syndrome” — a common phenomenon where college students appear cool and calm on the surface while paddling hard underneath.

Last call to register for UW Symposium by March 15
Registration is closing March 15 for the UW event Symposium for Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity at UW-La Cross on Friday, May 1. The event is for undergraduates from all majors to present via poster, oral presentation, art/project display, or performance. ORSP will provide transportation and poster printing to selected students, who will also be asked to present at Stout's Research Day.
