Did you know that the last day of April is celebrated as Arbor Day by numerous communities worldwide? This special day is dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of deforestation and the vital benefits that trees offer to our communities. People come together to commemorate Arbor Day by planting trees in their local areas. Remarkably, on the very first Arbor Day in April 1872, it is estimated that over one million trees were planted!

What are some of the benefits that trees provide to our environment and communities? Submit your answer to be entered in for a prize here.
