Solve a series of riddles that lead you to participating local businesses. Check in on CONNECT at each location by scanning individual QR Codes found at each business to rack up points and earn prizes. This self-led event begins October 6th at 12pm and ends October 13 at 5pm.
Participants can join the game by following these simple steps:
1. Follow the clues
2. Stop on in the local business
3. Scan the QR code at each location to "check in" to be entered to win the prize basket!
Winners are randomly selected to win from an assortment of gift cards and items!
Ganeshananthan will discuss the role of research in writing historical fiction. She will discuss how she created a realistic setting for her novel Brotherless Night set in 1980s Sri Lanka. She will also discuss the novel's themes and styles and this novel's place in the larger tradition of war, feminism, and ethnicity.
Hello everyone - as you are parking your cars this weekend please be mindful of street parking along the parade route. Cars parked on the route after 8am can be towed. Please show your spirit by making sure that you and your guests have them moved by then and come enjoy the parade.
