In this history making year, there is still more history to be made. Perhaps you have heard that there is US Presidential Election on Tuesday, November 3? Though F-1 students do not have the ability to vote, the outcome of this election will still impact you (as any election would, to be fair). While I am sure that you are quite tired of hearing about the election, you do have an opportunity to be part of the night, which is as much a part of election tradition as anything else.
Although we most likely will not know the final result on November 3, the evening will present you with an opportunity to learn more about the electoral system in the US and learn more about what issues matter to many citizens. A great way to do this is through an election watch party which, conveniently, the Involvement Center has organized. Check it out or create your own watch party amongst friends!
Still not quite sure how a US Presidential Elections works? Here's a handy guide.
