AFS Stout's first Open Pour of Spring '24!
No experience required! Walk away with something metal you made for free!
We'll be utilizing the Lost Foam method of metalcasting this session to fit more people per workstation. With this method, we bury an EPS foam object (coffee cup material) in sand, and then pour molten metal down a foam sprue attached the object, which all vaporizes away on contact, leaving the metal to take the shape left behind! We'll have premade hearts & flowers, as well as extra EPS foam that you can cut your own patterns out of!
While your vacation might be over, your gaming vacation is just getting started! Join us in the Great Hall and Ballrooms for this 48-hour island getaway-themed LAN!
