Looking for an internship, coop or full-time gig? Attend UW-Stout's annual fall career conference! Whether a freshman, transfer, or senior, attending this event will help you develop the skills you need to stand out from other applicants for a job, make a good first impression with an employer, and find the right position to fit your career goals.
Business professional attire is recommended for this event, particularly if you're serious about acquiring an internship or career. This means donning a suit in most cases, although your professors should be able to tell you if they recommend anything different. We recommend you print out five to ten copies of your resume, just in case that opportunity strikes! Bringing some sort of pad-folio is also recommended, as it offers you a space to collect business cards and position write-ups.
Participate in one of the largest Career Conferences in the Midwest. UW-Stout has a rich history of hosting multi-day Career Conferences which consistently draw 300-plus employers each semester and more than 2,000 students during both the fall and spring semesters.
