Join the Involvement Center to honor, recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate this Indigenous Peoples’ Day with representatives from the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin.
We’ll begin with a discussion on historical preservation and its importance by Wanda McFaggen, Director of Tribal Historic Preservation.
Then, experience a dance exhibition from the St. Croix Dance Troupe consisting of a range of traditional dancing and singing.
UW-Stout students, faculty, and staff: Help us harvest, weed, mulch, and enjoy the great outdoors! All volunteers will be provided with gloves and tools. Please bring water and your Blue Devil ID.

Inside Stout, first universitywide podcast, debuts
There’s a new way to hear what’s happening at UW-Stout — the first universitywide podcast, Inside Stout. Inside Stout will feature recorded conversations with a variety of people from across the university community. Topics will include news, current events, trends, issues, personal stories, history and more. The first episode features one of the university’s esports teams. The episode and future episodes can be found on the Inside Stout page at Buzzsprout, a podcast platform. Episodes also will be archived on Buzzsprout.
As a reminder, the fall payment due date for students is Wednesday, Oct. 12. If students have questions regarding billing, payment options, tuition and fee assessments, refunds, Minnesota Reciprocity, or authorized user access, they may contact Student Business Services, 715-232-1656, Administration Building room 125M.

The University Student Senate is the legislative body of the Stout Student Association and meets weekly to discuss university policy and shared governance, allocate fees, promote new initiatives in support of the students, and hear from campus leaders.
