Student research grant deadline on May 15

Students interested in doing research or an artistic project later this summer can apply for a grant (up to $2,500) to cover costs, including student hourly payroll. Students can also apply for a grant (up to $1,500) to share their work at a conference/event or in a journal. Note: Costs may only begin July 1 or after. Strive for Five, a sustainable commute campaign, is open

Walk, bike or commute to campus using a nongreenhouse gas method at least five times a month to be eligible for a Strive for Five drawing for $10 in Chamber bucks. Every additional five carbon-free commute days reported will earn participants an additional entry. The drawing will close for March on Thursday, April 10th. Late entries will not be counted. Participants must live off campus to be eligible. Winners will be notified via email.

Gaming and Digital Innovation (GDI) Lab Closed for Painting (Library Room 103)

The UW-Stout Library's GDI Lab is closed for paint and repairs and will reopen on Friday, April, 18th.  We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.  This is the first part of a two part renovation of the GDI Lab.  Carpet is due to be installed in May after the semester is over.

Come join the HGT Band from 8pm-9pm(HOME GROWN TOMATOES), which is a professional variety band with a musical repertoire guaranteed to please all ages, from eight to eighty! HGT's diverse repertoire includes top 40 favorites, Classic Rock and Country as well as pop tunes from the 50's and 60's & 70's. As a Variety Band they also play Waltzes, Polkas, and all sorts of Jazz tunes.
Our second band is The Orchid club that is entering the scene with a fully formed and -realized vision, dabbling in a lovingly oldschool and timeless set of flashbacks to the more left-field staples of '80s-'90s US postcore and -punk.
