SSU and LIT will be tabling in the MSC shining light on Immigrated families and providing information and details on what is going on in the world today with immigrated families. We will also be using this time for our Do You Have a Story to Tell event so students can pick up materials, learn more about the event and also write their stories early.
Trans Day of Remembrance is November 20th and honors those in the trans community who have been killed due to transphobia and anti-trans violence. Join us the day before on November 19th for an art show featuring pieces by the LGBTQIA+ community, and a reflection space to gather after.

Nomination deadline of Dec. 1 to present at Research in the Rotunda in Madison
Student researchers who are Wisconsin residents, don’t miss your chance to present at Research in the Rotunda, a UW System event at the Capitol on March 9th! Students will present via posters and videos and meet with state legislators. If interested, go the linked SharePoint page and follow steps to be nominated. Nominations must be received by Dec. 1. This month, the library has had some cool and exciting displays. We had the pleasure of learning about some amazing and diverse holidays such as Diwali and Dia de Los Muertos.
